Applicants are typically required to have three A Levels at grades ABB, with General Studies not accepted. For the International Baccalaureate (IB), 6,5,5 at Higher Level subjects plus 32 points overall is expected. BTEC options are considered, with accepted subjects for the BTEC Extended Diploma and BTEC Diploma including Children’s Play, Learning & Development, and Health & Social Care. All subjects are considered for the BTEC Subsidiary Diploma when combined with two A Levels. Typical BTEC offers include DDD for the Extended Diploma; or an A at A Level plus DM in the BTEC Diploma; or AB at A Levels plus D in the BTEC Subsidiary Diploma. T Levels are also accepted, with a standard offer of Distinction overall and B in the Core Component. Applicants must have at least grade C in GCSE Mathematics and English, with a preferred grade C in GCSE Science, which is essential for those pursuing Primary teaching. Access to HE Diploma programmes in Social Sciences or Humanities will also be considered. Applicants who take the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) and meet offer criteria will receive the typical offer for their programme, or an alternative offer one grade lower plus a grade A in the EPQ (e.g., ABB or BBB plus A in EPQ). Typical offer grades are for guidance and may vary depending on subject combinations, with the higher offer applied where disparities exist between subjects.
