K–12 School Librarianship Graduate Certificate

The University of Central Missouri’s new K–12 Librarianship graduate certificate is designed specifically for you. UCM helps today’s teachers become tomorrow’s K–12 library leaders. Our online program covers all the essential knowledge and skills you’ll need for success as a school librarian. Missouri-certified teachers will be able to earn a library science certificate — and credits you can transfer to our Master of Library Science program. Whether you choose to pair this certificate with a master’s degree or complete it as a stand-alone credential, UCM’s K–12 School Librarianship graduate certificate will strengthen your experience as an educator with information technology and library skills.

To be accepted into the program, a student must have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum overall GPA of 2.50 (based on 4.00). Students may have an undergraduate degree in any area.
