Graduate Certificate in Leading for Learning

The Leading for Learning Graduate Certificate is intended for those professionals who wish to receive a British Columbia Education Leadership Council approved certificate. The certificate prepares graduates to become recognized educational leaders whether in a teacher-leader or administrative-leader position. The certificate is designed to ladder into the MEd in Multidisciplinary Leadership (MDL).

The MEd program is open to all *educators, leaders, practitioners and community members who want to deepen their praxis (theory and practice) in leadership or inclusive education.

Statement of Interest

Please ensure you review the Master of Education program web page to gain an understanding of what the program content offers for assistance in composing your statement. Your statement should include the following:

Self-introduction: sharing the personal and professional experiences and skills that contribute to your desire to enroll in the UNBC MEd program.

Confirmation of the intended specialization you are applying for within the MEd program.

Inclusion of your academic/scholarly experiences and skills that will contribute to the successful completion of a Master of Education degree.

Indication of how the successful completion of this MEd program will contribute to your future aspirations.
