The ACT Government has announced its skilled migration allocation for the 2025–26 program year, with a total of 1,600 nomination places.
These are evenly distributed between:
Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa - 800 places
Skilled Work Regional (subclass 491) visa - 800 places
The ACT Government is in the process of scheduling its next invitation round. Details will be published on the ACT government’s official website once confirmed. Applicants are advised to check for updates regularly to stay informed about invitation rounds.
After submitting a valid SkillSelect EOI to the Department of Home Affairs, proceed with the application process for ACT nomination as on the Migration ACT website.

Step 3 - Wait for your Matrix to be selected and ranked
Step 4: If invited, apply for ACT nomination
Step 5: The ACT government will assess your application
