No.1 Medical School in Australia

Flinders University recently topped the latest ratings of Australian medical schools for overall education quality.

Flinders’ medical students reported a high 94.2% satisfaction rate with the overall education quality in the 2017/2018 Good Universities Guide Medicine Ratings, beating high profile medical schools in Sydney and Melbourne.

The guide is the only publication that provides independent performance ratings on Australian universities and the courses they offer.

Gold standard for Flinders MBA

Flinders University is the first South Australian university, and only the third in Australia, to receive accreditation from the prestigious Association of MBAs (AMBA).

“This reflects the University’s reinvigorated Master of Business Administration (MBA) offering, placing the programme in the upper echelon of business courses internationally,” says Professor Phyllis Tharenou, Vice-President and Executive Dean of Flinders University’s College of Business Government and Law.

“The AMBA represents the gold standard in global recognition of business programmes,” she says.

Flinders is rated 5 stars for teaching quality in its Business and Management, Communications, Medicine, Psychology, Science and Mathematics degrees (The Good Universities Guide, 2018).

To gain direct admission to Flinders University, students must meet required academic and English proficiency requirements.

Academic entry requirements

To gain direct general admission to an undergraduate course at Flinders, students must have successfully completed a recognised secondary education qualification overseas or in Australia.

To enrol as a student at Flinders University in a postgraduate course, students must meet the specified academic entry requirements.

English language entry requirements

International students whose first language is not English will need to meet the English language entry requirements in addition to the course prerequisites.

Students who don’t meet the English language or academic entry requirements can still gain entry to Flinders University through one of the approved pathway providers.

Flinders Business Postgraduate Scholarships

Flinders Business is offering eligible international students a 15% partial fee scholarship for the duration of their course at Flinders University.

This partial fee scholarship of 15% of tuition costs (valued at more than AUD 9,000) is available to international applicants with GPA of 80% or higher for the following courses:

Accommodation

There are a variety of accommodation options available at Flinders Living to suit student needs. Accommodation is available in self-contained units in Deirdre Jordan Village or in University Hall, Flinders’ catered hall of residence.
