The following is a snapshot of a few significant recent developments, among many others, at La Trobe University:
The Times Higher Education ranking, one of the major rankings in global academics, has placed La Trobe in the top-400 university bracket. Further, the ranking has placed the University’s Arts & Humanities department in the top 200 in the world, which translates to the department being in the top one per cent globally.
La Trobe University has instituted a new Career Ready Mentoring program, where students will be matched with industry professionals in their area of interest, who will share with them their experience and expertise. This helps students strengthen and build their network and gain uniquely qualified insight into their areas of professional interest.
La Trobe University’s new AUD10 million Sydney campus has been opened at Hyde Park. Technology-enhanced adjustable teaching spaces and hi-tech audio-visual equipment are notable features of this campus. The building has an A-grade, 5-star NABERS Energy rating, is flooded with natural light and has views of Hyde Park and the city.
