Government Education and Training International-Tasmania

Tasmanian Government Education International (TGEI) is the international education division of the Tasmanian Government Department for Education, Children and Young People (DECYP). It is responsible for managing international student programs and international education projects across Tasmanian Government Schools. As one of Australias largest providers of accredited international student programs, TGEI represents more than 120 primary schools and 18 high schools throughout Tasmania. The schools within the network provide world-class education, support students through an enriching and rewarding learning experience, and encourage them to become active, lifelong learners. TGEI offers a wide range of programs for international students of all ages, enabling them to study in Tasmanian Government Schools while experiencing Tasmanias high-quality education system and unique learning environment.
