LJMU is updating its scholarships package for 2019, and will offer financial opportunities for students who are seeking placements with university and industry partners. An expanded range of funding routes in postgraduate education and contributions to external funding bodies mean that more students will have financial support throughout the institution.
New engineering programmes:
This year, LJMU has developed 4 new programmes within the Faculty of Engineering & Technology to give postgraduate students the opportunity to not only learn in an academic setting but also put their skills to the test in an industrial environment, earning a wage as they go. The new programmes are:
- MSc Wireless Communications
- MSc Embedded Systems and IC Design
- MSc Sensors Data and Management
- MSc Electrical Power and Control Engineering
Alongside these programmes, sit new scholarships – including the Global Enterprise Award, which provides up to GBP 6,000 towards tuition for successful applicants.
More new courses:
MA Digital Literacies: Ran entirely online, this course appeals to international students as it means they can study from their home country. Within this course, students learn the relevant skills and practices that allow them to develop digital literacy tools in the right way.
MSC Biology of Health and Disease: Allows students to use cutting-edge technology, conduct research projects and take part in practical teaching methods from staff who are leaders in their field.
