TAFE South Australia is the largest vocational education and training provider and one of the largest in Australia. More than one million students have studied with them since it was established in 1971.The courses cover more than 80 areas of industry and activity, with flexible delivery options that suit the needs of the students. International students from many countries choose to study at TAFE SA for the quality of education and support they receive, as well as the enviable South Australian lifestyle.
The Institution’s courses are designed to help students do this by combining hands-on, practical learning with valuable industry placements. Whether a student is looking for an award course, a packaged pathway to university, or simply wishing to improve the English language, it has courses to suit. TAFE SA offers over 1,300 courses and provides training on campus, in the workplace, in the community, online or through external study. Some courses might require two or three years study, whereas another course might be skills update that only lasts an afternoon. Courses can differ by duration or by delivery method. Some are open to anyone who wants to apply, while others have conditions of eligibility.
