The Times Education Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings is an annual publication of university rankings by the Times Higher Education magazine. It is one of the three most popular rankings in the world along with QS World University Rankings and Academic Ranking of World Universities. THE Rankings have evaluated 1904 universities from 108 countries and territories this year.
The influencers under the THE ranking include teaching (29.5%), research (29%), citation (15%), industry income (4%), and international outlook (7.5%). *
Three Canadian Universities have ranked in the top 100 this year. The University of Toronto sustained its number position in Canada and 21st position overall. As a matter of fact, the University of Alberta has moved up on the charts to rank 109 (up from 118).
The next THE World University Ranking is expected to come out in September 2026.
