What's new

Supporting healthy campuses

ASU has worked tirelessly to ensure the well-being of all students during the Covid-19 pandemic. ASU implemented hybrid and fully digital classroom options to promote a healthy campus environment, and to accommodate students who weren't able to join ASU for in-person classes. Students can check for the latest updates on the ASU website.

ASU's own Biodesign Institute created a saliva-based Covid-19 test that is available at no cost to students, faculty, staff and community members. At the start of the fall 2020 semester, all students were provided Community of Care kits, which contained sanitizing supplies, a thermometer and face masks. ASU also developed a smartphone app, enabling all students, faculty and staff to submit a daily health check.

Accelerate ASU

International students can earn university credit while still in high school with ASU's unique Accelerate program. They'll be able to complete five online undergraduate courses and earn 15 university credits, the equivalent of one semester of bachelor's degree study. This means students could complete a U.S. bachelor's degree in three and a half years rather than four, saving time and money.
