Ontario Tech University offers 56 undergraduate programs, 37 graduate programs and 20 pathways diploma to degree programs. It has more than 1550 faculty members distributed under 7 faculties to provide students with best of university education and experience. The university houses more than 70 specialized research laboratories and facilities. These facilities show its commitment to attracting leading scholars and creating excellent learning experiences.
UOIT’s 8,400-square-metre, fully equipped Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre offers programs, recreational leagues, sports camps for kids, memberships to extensive modern facilities and so much more. Activities range from yoga, Pilates, boot camps and spin classes, to personal training, intramurals and extramural. It has got something healthy for everybody.
The Campus Library incorporates leading-edge technology while maintaining the comfort of a traditional library. With four floors and 6,800 square metres of learning, study and collaboration space, there’s enough room to expand every mind.
UOIT is located in the city of Oshawa, Ontario, in the Durham Region. Oshawa is the 14th-largest metropolitan area in Canada, the city has a small-community feel with all the conveniences and services of a larger city. Durham Region is one of Canada’s fastest growing economic areas, allowing the university to build strong relationships with industry and community partner organizations in the area.
