International students studying at UM have access to a range of funding programs at the university. These include entrance scholarships and a range of other financial awards including bursaries in the second year of study.

The International Undergraduate Entrance Scholarship is awarded to international students who have achieved a minimum high school grade average of 85 percent or over in select academic courses. Students with averages greater or equal to 85 percent can receive an award of 1,000 CAD, while 90 percent or over may entitle students to a scholarship of 2,000 CAD, and 95 percent or over 3,000 CAD – if students meet the relevant applicability criteria. The university also offers an International Undergraduate Student Scholarship and International Student Bursaries, in addition to entrance awards and graduate awards.
