University of Stirling
The University of Stirling was founded by Royal Charter in 1967. It has been the number one destination for thousands of international students for many years. The students will become a vital part of university’s international and academic community. With over 100 international research partners, almost three-quarters of it’s research activity is rated either world-leading or internationally excellent.
The University offers a wide range of exciting and business focused undergraduate degree and postgraduate taught degree programmes. It is recognised as a centre of excellence for research. Students can choose from around 200 high quality degree combinations to create the programme that will suit their strengths and help them achieve their goals. Its Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses are accredited by various external bodies. Each student is assigned an academic member of staff as a Personal Tutor and students will meet with them regularly so that they can offer guidance and support at any point during studies.
Stirling is located just two miles from the centre of Stirling. Set in the shadow of the Ochil Hills, the magnificent 330-acre campus encompasses a loch, a golf course and the 18th-century Airthrey Castle. The University has two other campuses in Inverness and Stornoway, centres of excellence in the teaching of nursing and midwifery.
