Founded in 1967, Sheridan is one of Ontario's leading postsecondary institutions, attracting students from across Canada and around the world. It has grown from a local college of 400 students to an award-winning institution, educating approximately 23,000 full-time and 35,000 continuing and part-time studies students every year on three campuses in three Ontario cities of Oakville, Brampton and Mississauga.
Sheridan offers more than 120 programs across five faculties, including 25 degree programs. The institute’s faculties include Animation, Arts and Design, Pilon School of Business, Applied Science and Technology, Applied Health and Community Studies, and Humanities and Social Sciences. It also provides high-quality recreational programming and leading-edge exercise facilities to its students. Additionally, the college offers health and counselling services that supports the academic, personal and social growth of students from diverse backgrounds.
