Selection criteria:
This is an award of up to £5,000 per year, for up to a maximum of four years, for prospective self-funding new international undergraduate and postgraduate students domiciled in and / or a National of Türkiye. Successful recipients will have the award deducted from their tuition fees.
To be eligible for the Abertay Türkiye Scholarship, you must meet all of the following conditions:
Be domiciled in and / or a national of Türkiye
Be classified as a self-funded international (overseas) fee paying student by Abertay University
Achieve one of the following minimum academic entry requirements:
- Pass the Lise Diplomasi, Adalou Lise, Fen Lise or Lise Bitirme Diplomasi with minimum 70% overall score, with essential subjects at 70% or above
- Pass the full IBDP with a total minimum score of 28, with any essential subjects achieved at SL5 or HL4
- Pass the US High School Diploma with a GPA of 3.0 (on a 4-point scale). Any essential subjects to be achieved with minimum grade B.
- Pass a Bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 2.8 (4-point scale) or 75% in a subject related to their chosen course.
Hold an offer to study on a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree, on campus, at Abertay in the 2026/27 or 2027/28 academic year
Have met all academic conditions attached to your offer of admission for entry to the University as a new full-time student.
The award will contribute to each year of degree, up to a maximum of four years, while you are studying in Dundee.
Students who are admitted with Advanced Entry into Year 2 or above of an undergraduate programme, and who meet the above conditions, will also be eligible for this award.
No separate application form is required, and you will be assessed for the scholarship based on your application for study and your personal statement. If you meet all the eligibility criteria and are awarded the Abertay Türkiye Scholarship, you will be notified by us by email following your offer of study.
