International Entrance & Performance Award (IEPA)

Eligible new international students can receive a tuition reduction of CAD $150 per credit when enrolled in 12 or more credits per semester (typically 4 courses).

Award Value

CAD $1,800 per semester for 12.00 credits
CAD $150 per credit for any additional registered credits
Up to CAD $18,000 total for a four-year degree program

Eligible Programs

Select diplomas, associate degrees, bachelor's degrees, post-baccalaureate diplomas in fields including Business, Arts & Sciences, Interdisciplinary Studies, Communications and Tourism.

Students must:

• Be admitted for Fall 2026 or Spring 2027
• Be paying international student tuition fees
• Be a CapU credential seeking student (non-short-term visiting student)
• Have an admission GPA of 2.50 or higher in required courses as determined by CapU's admission assessment

Note: students with an admission GPA below 2.50 may still be eligible for the performance part of this award if they meet the continuing eligibility requirements outlined below.
