The Red Dragon Scholarship

The Cardiff University Red Dragon Scholarship 2026 supports students from Mainland China or Türkiye to achieve their goal of studying at Cardiff University in September 2026.

The scholarship award for 2026 is £10,000 and will be available in all rounds of the Red Dragon Scholarship application process.

This scholarship reflects Cardiff University's ongoing commitment to supporting students interested in studying with us. We hope this award helps make your journey to Cardiff more accessible and rewarding as you take the next step towards securing your place.

To be eligible for the Red Dragon Scholarship, you must:

• be domiciled in Mainland China or Türkiye
• be classed an international fee-paying student
• be holding an offer for a full-time campus-based postgraduate taught masters programme at Cardiff University commencing in September 2026 at the point of submitting a scholarship application
• have accepted your academic course offer by the deadline of the scholarship round in which you are applying
• have submitted the scholarship application by the deadline of the scholarship round in which you are applying
• meet all the offer conditions (if applicable), including any English Language conditions, as stated in your offer letter by Monday 21 September 2026.
