The Defne–Muhtar Kent Educational Foundation Scholarship at Bayes Business School will provide substantial financial support to an undergraduate student from Turkey wishing to pursue an undergraduate degree at the School.
This scholarship reflects Muhtar Kent's long-standing commitment to supporting students from Turkey. It also marks 50 years since he began his studies at what was then known as City University Business School.
Established to widen access to higher education, the scholarship is intended to support an academically promising student who may be facing financial barriers or challenging personal circumstances that could otherwise prevent them from studying at Bayes Business School.
The Defne–Muhtar Kent Educational Foundation is pleased to offer this new scholarship commencing in the 2026/2027 academic year.
The scholarship provides £25,000 per year for up to four years of study, awarded as a contribution towards tuition fees.
