The School of Policy and Global Affairs Global Excellence Scholarship (GES)

This scholarship is for overseas fee paying students applying to an MSc or MA programme within the School of Policy & Global Affairs for September 2026 entry.

20% fee waiver for all overseas fee paying students who receive, or have received, a 2.1 or equivalent at undergraduate level. This applies to both full time and part time students throughout their programme of study.

Eligibility criteria

Applicants for the Global Excellence Scholarship must:

Be eligible to pay fees at the overseas rate, as determined by Admissions.

Have a 2.1 or above classification or equivalent in their undergraduate degree, as determined by Admissions. Please note that Admissions decisions on degree equivalency are final.

Applicants who are currently studying for an undergraduate degree will have the fee waiver applied upon receipt of evidence that a 2.1 or above classification has been achieved prior to starting the course

Alumni of City St George's who meet the requirements for this scholarship can use their 20% Graduate Loyalty Discount in conjunction with this scholarship. Their 20% Graduate Loyalty Discount will be applied to the reduced amount after their General Excellence Scholarship is applied.
