Successful candidates are required to:

• Provide a thank you letter for your donor
• Provide a short end of academic year report to share your experiences and how this award has made a difference to you
• Attend scholarship related events, hosted by GCU or your donor.
• Make good academic progress each year of study.
• Photography and quotes from scholarship recipients may be used in printed media and on University website/communications channels.

Undergraduate

The London Insurance Market Charitable Trust generously support scholarships for talented students on Glasgow Caledonian University's undergraduate risk programmes:

• BA (Hons) Risk Management
• BA (Hons) Finance, Investment and Risk

Support is open to new students joining in 2025-26 at 1st or 3rd year level via school or college.

Who can apply?

The scholarship is available to New GCU Students joining Risk programmes below in September 2025 at 1st or 3rd year level via school or college. It is available to Home (Scottish) or UK students.

• BA (Hons) Risk Management
• BA (Hons) Finance, Investment and Risk

The scholarships provide recipients with support at a level of £1,500 per year throughout the duration of their studies, helping to alleviate any financial pressures.

Postgraduate

The London Insurance Market Charitable Trust is proud to support postgraduate scholarships for talented students joining GCU's MSc Risk Management programme in the 2025/26 academic year.

The scholarships provide recipients with full tuition fee support of £7,300 for Home (Scottish) or UK students, plus opportunities to engage with risk and insurance industry through experience visits and mentoring.
