Selection criteria:
Applicants will be assessed on the basis of academic merit and financial need and we are keen to support applications from students who belong to groups historically under-represented in postgraduate humanities studies.
To be eligible to apply, applicants must:
- Be home-fee status and UK-domiciled
- Have accepted an offer of place of study on the MA Shakespeare Studies programme, entry Sept 2025
- The Bursary would not normally fund a second Master's degree. If applying for a second Master's degree, applications must provide justification to why they wish to undertake this study.
Please note that periods of interruption or repetition will not be covered by the bursary, and transferring to a different programme of study or withdrawing will result in the bursary being cancelled with immediate effect.
