Your scholarship application responses, together with your college admission application, will be used to assess your academic potential and merit within the context of your educational and socio‑economic background for the purposes of awarding the scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria
Students from under-represented Ethnicities – The ethnic groups below are under-represented in Higher Education and the King's student body. You can read more about underrepresented ethnicities on the Ethnicity webpage.

- Gypsy, Roma and Traveller Students
- LatinX students
Students who received Free School Meals (FSM) - Any applicant that was or has once been eligible for FSM.
Students who are considered first Generation to Higher Education - You qualify as being a First Generation student if neither of your parent earned a university degree at undergraduate level or above.
Students who belong to a priority Group - Priority group students are individuals who have spent time in care, experienced involuntary immigration, been estranged from family, or have caring responsibilities.

Students with any of the following disabilities
- Specific learning differences such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, and attention deficit disorder

- Hearing impairments
- Visual impairments
- Autistic spectrum disorders such as Asperger syndrome

Low‑income students – Students who meet either of the below criteria are eligible to apply. You will be required to submit either your Student Loans Company (SLC) entitlement letter confirming your maintenance loan award for your final undergraduate year, or your official scholarship award letter confirming the value of the award.
