Postgraduate International Regional Scholarship

£10,000 fee reduction scholarship for international students from 12 underrepresented countries, starting a taught postgraduate course in 2027. This scholarship is only is available for students on full-time programmes that are taught fully on campus.

Who is eligible?

You will automatically be considered for this scholarship if you:

are a national of, or your permanent home address is within, one of the following countries/regions:

• Canada
• Egypt
• Ghana
• Indonesia
• Kenya
• Malaysia
• Nigeria
• Pakistan
• Taiwan
• Thailand
• Turkey
• Vietnam

have an average grade to date at a 1st, or 2:1 level in your undergraduate studies (to include equivalent classifications). If you have already completed your undergraduate studies, then you will need to have already achieved a 1st or 2:1 degree.
accept a conditional or unconditional offer from Lancaster University for 2027 entry

International students from other countries may be eligible for the Master's Excellence Scholarship.

• The scholarship is available across all MA, MSc, MBA, LLM full-time taught postgraduate degree programmes offered fully on campus at Lancaster University, Bailrigg campus. It is also available to students on our EMBA programme. It is not available to students applying for MSc by Research programmes, PGCert, PGDip and MRes or online programmes.
• Applicants must have accepted a conditional or unconditional offer from Lancaster University for 2027 entry
• Applicants in receipt of external funding will only be eligible for this scholarship where the external funding covers less than 50% of the tuition fee.
