Undergraduate EU Scholarship

The Undergraduate EU Scholarship is a £3,000 scholarship, awarded as fee reduction for each year of study, to international students from the European Union (see eligibility) who are applying to study an undergraduate course starting in 2027.

Who is eligible?

You will automatically be considered for this scholarship if you:

• are a national of, or your permanent home address is within, the European Union or the European Economic Area (including Switzerland).
• are an international fee paying applicant

International students from other countries may be eligible for the International Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship.

• The scholarship is available across all our full-time undergraduate degree courses offered fully on campus at Lancaster University Bailrigg campus
• The scholarship will not be awarded for any period of study undertaken away from the University, including but not limited to study abroad programmes, placement years, industrial placements, or years in industry.
• The scholarship is not available on the BSc Business Management (International Dual Degree) course
• You must meet or exceed the conditions of your offer to receive the scholarship. If you already have your academic results at the point you apply, you must meet the published entry requirements for your course
• You are not eligible to receive the Undergraduate EU Scholarship for any repeated years of study
• This scholarship cannot be deferred to a future year of entry. If you do choose to defer your offer, your application will be reassessed for any scholarships you might be eligible for in that year of entry

Lancaster University reserves the right to withdraw this scholarship or bursary if award holders are subsequently found to be ineligible or if the terms and conditions of the scholarship are not adhered to.
