Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for a Rising Star Scholarship, applicants must:

• Be between the age of 18-21 at the time of application
• Have a conditional or unconditional offer for entry to London Metropolitan University for a first full-time undergraduate degree, and due to commence study in September 2025.
• Be a UK student and have been assessed for fee status as 'home'.
• Have applied for the full Maintenance Loan and Student Finance England has confirmed that your household meets the eligibility criteria for the maximum award.
