USA International Excellence Postgraduate Scholarship

Selection Criteria

• 2 awards available for 2 students from the USA.
• Academic excellence (first-class honours or equivalent e.g. US GPA 3.7–4.0).
• Demonstrated financial need through your personal statement.
• Answers within application form.

To be considered for the USA London Met International Excellence Postgraduate Scholarship, you must:

• Be a US citizen and US resident.
• Be applying for a full-time master's degree at London Metropolitan University's London campuses.
• Be considered an International-fee payer.
• Have graduated, or be expected to graduate, with a first-class (equivalent) bachelor's degree.
• Have accepted a conditional or unconditional offer of admission.
• Be able to demonstrate financial need in a written personal statement (part of the application form).
• Have an IELTS 7.5 (minimum) unless exempt under English language requirements (most US citizens are exempt).
• Be available to begin studies at London Metropolitan University in January – no deferral permitted.
• Be 18 or above on enrolment and meet UK immigration requirements.

Scholarship Value

• £4,000 tuition fee discount (applied to one year of study).
• This scholarship can be combined with other awards, including the USA Elite Scholarship, allowing successful US applicants to achieve up to £9,500 total tuition fee reductions in the first year.
