Leadership in Sport Scholarship

Write a personal statement (ca. 500 words) outlining their interest in the leadership in Sport postgraduate programme, and how the scholarship will help them study for and successfully complete this programme.

The Institute for Sport Business, part of Loughborough University London, in partnership with the Institute of Sports Humanities (ISH), is offering the Leadership in Sport Scholarship (50% off tuition fees) to black and ethnic minority, care experienced, female applicants, or those with a disability holding unconditional offers to the Leadership in Sport MA.

Our Leadership in Sport MA is a part-time programme designed to nurture and support sport's current and future leaders – both on and off the pitch, from the sharp end of high performance to the wider perspectives required to understand sport as a whole and its influence on society.

The Leadership in Sport scholarship is part of an initiative to promote equality, diversity, and inclusion of underrepresented groups in the sport industry.

To apply for our Leadership in Sport Scholarship applicants must:

• Be a Leadership in Sport unconditional offer holder at Loughborough University London as of 31 August 2026
• Write a personal statement (ca. 500 words) outlining their interest in the leadership in Sport postgraduate programme, and how the scholarship will help them study for and successfully complete this programme.
