Loughborough University Sanctuary Scholarships

Loughborough University is delighted to present the Loughborough University Sanctuary Scholarships for entry in October 2025.

The scholarship will cover 100% off the course fees for your chosen undergraduate degree for 3 years (replacing any departmental or other Loughborough University scholarships or bursaries you may already have been awarded) and a stipend to support living costs during your study at Loughborough University (amount to be confirmed). Students will be expected to fund their travel and visa costs through other sources.

The University will award one undergraduate, and two postgraduate taught scholarships, and the standards required are very high so please make sure you submit a strong application to be considered for this prestigious award.

The scholarships are being 100% funded by university funds.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

Currently holding an offer (conditional or unconditional) for an eligible undergraduate programme

Show evidence of exceptional academic achievement

Is your home located in a region of conflict/war such that their lives or the lives of their family are in danger, or such that they could be forcibly displaced due to persecution.

Are you, or your family, at risk of imminent imprisonment, injury, death or persecution?

If you are currently in the UK but were to return to your home country, your life or safety would be at much greater risk.
