The selection committee will consist of the BICA Program Coordinator (who is also a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst), an additional Board Certified Behaviour Analyst who teaches in the program (if one is available), and at least two full-time faculty members, at least one of whom is from the Department of Psychology.
Typically given out in the Fall and Winter terms.
Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:
Have been admitted to the Behavioural Interventions Certificate of Achievement (BICA) program and enrolled at MacEwan University
Be accepted to the HTWL 581 field placement
Be in good academic standing.
The program will nominate students based on the following:
Volunteer placement working towards cumulating supervised hours towards BACB certification
Quantity of PABA courses taken and
Preference for two awards will be given to Indigenous students.
