Chaldeans Mensah Model UN Travel Award

Selection Committee.

Successful applicants will be notified via e-mail. Committee selections are final, appeals will not be considered.

Typically given out in the Winter term.

The purpose of this award is to provide a travel stipend or reimbursement for a student enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts degree program who is travelling out of province for a simulation of the United Nations (Model UN).

Criteria

To be considered, a student must:

• have a demonstrated interest in global politics
• be involved in the work of the MacEwan UN Club
• have a minimum GPA of 3.3
• be able to confirm their recent or intended Model UN travel that has, or will, occur within four months of the application deadline date.

Preference will be given to Political Science majors.

Disbursement Criteria

For funds to be disbursed, successful applicants must be enrolled in a full-time course load and be in good academic standing.
