Selection committee, including representatives from the program area.
Successful applicants will be notified via email. Committee decisions are final appeals will not be considered.
Typically given out in the Fall term.
To be eligible for this award, applicants must:
- Be enrolled as a full-time student in the Bachelor of Music in Jazz and Contemporary Popular Music program
- Demonstrate strong engagement in the country music genre and/or express strong interest in a country music career
- Be in good academic standing.
Whenever possible, the student recipient will meet with the donor to share how this gift has benefitted her/him/them, and how it will help further her/his/their educational and career goals. When a meeting is not possible, the student will provide a thank you video or letter.
Disbursement Criteria
For funds to be disbursed, successful applicants must be enrolled in a full-time course load and be in good academic standing.
