Laurie Morison Memorial Creative Writing Award

Criteria

To be eligible for this award, students must:

Have declared a Creative Writing minor

Have completed at least nine credits in Creative Writing at the senior level

Submit an outstanding piece of work in any genre of 10 pages maximum

Describe how this award would be of significant benefit to their further development as a writer, and about their creative writing plans and accomplishments (500 words maximum).

To ensure anonymity, do not include your full name or other identifying information in your written submission(s).

Disbursement Criteria

For funds to be disbursed, successful applicants must be enrolled in a full-time course load and be in good academic standing.
