To be considered for this award, students must:
Be enrolled in the Faculty of Arts & Science
Have successfully completed a 400-level English seminar class in the same academic year the award is given
Submit an essay written in a 400-level English class, excluding ENGL 498 and ENGL 499, to the English department and
Be in good academic standing

For funds to be disbursed, successful applicants must be enrolled in a full-time course load and be in good academic standing.
