The Lady Edwina Grosvenor Scholarships

You must:

• Hold a firm offer to study a new full-time undergraduate course in the 2026/27 academic year, excluding foundation year and distance learning.*
• Be a UK student - English, Scottish, Welsh or Northern Irish - paying the standard full-time fees, and have a UK Student Support Number.
• Pay for your course yourself, including through a student loan or a payment from your parents. Your course fees must not be paid by a business, charity or other organisation.
• Have direct personal experience of the criminal justice system** or have an immediate family member (e.g., parent, guardian, sibling) who has been involved in the criminal justice system, where that involvement has had a meaningful impact on the applicant's life. This does not include applicants whose family members only work or have worked within the criminal justice system.
• Be willing to reflect on these experiences, or those of their immediate family member, as part of the written application and interview process. This may include discussion of challenges faced, lessons learned, and how these experiences have shaped their educational goals.
