Selection criteria:
The #YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship recognizes promising international students with a vision for enhancing intercultural understanding. As a participating institution in this program, Miami will award two annual, renewable scholarships.
Eligibility
To qualify, you must hold citizenship in a country outside the United States and also not possess U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
You must also demonstrate interest and personal initiative in activities involving intercultural learning and exchange.
Renewal Requirements
- Maintain full-time enrollment on the Oxford campus
- Maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA
- Apply for admission to Miami as a first-year student. Priority consideration is given to students who apply by December 1.
- Submit the #YouAreWelcomeHere application by January 1. The #YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship application is available on the Applicant Status page after you are admitted to Miami.
- Scholarship recipients will be notified in February.
- If you are awarded the #YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship, you must submit your enrollment deposit to Miami by May 1 to receive the scholarship.
