Gandel Scholarships

• This scholarship is awarded to the top male and female applicants based on academic achievement, personal circumstances, social or low income and leadership potential.
• Consideration will be given to students who are experiencing social disadvantage such as those who are from communities under-represented in higher education including those, but not limited to recent refugee arrivals in Australia, Indigenous Australian or those who find themselves in difficult circumstances.

Benefits

• AUD $6000 per annum, for up to four years.
• Students who live on-campus for their first year of study will receive accommodation fees of up to AUD $6000 paid directly to Monash University Accommodation for one year only.
• AUD $2500 global grant for overseas study
• An invitation to take part in Monash Minds, a leadership program for first year students.

You must meet the following criteria:

• Commencing Year 12 student enrolling in an undergraduate degree at a Monash campus in Australia.
• Participate as an Access Monash Mentor each year, beginning in your second year of study.
• Experiencing financial hardship.
• Minimum ATAR score or equivalent of 85.00.
