Frank Pounder Bursary (Geospatial Artificial Intelligence MSc)

Overview

The Frank Pounder Bursary scheme is designed to support students pursuing the MSc in Geospatial Artificial Intelligence (AI) at Newcastle University. Its primary aim is to promote academic excellence and encourage students to pursue careers within the geospatial sector.

Eligibility Criteria

• The bursary is available to all students who are fully registered on the MSc in Geospatial Artificial Intelligence for the 2026/2027 academic year.
• Each eligible student will receive an individual award of £2,000

The bursary will be disbursed in January 2027, following confirmation that each eligible student:

• has successfully registered as a full-time student on the Geospatial AI MSc programme
• is fully paid up to schedule on all university fees
• has actively engaged with their studies throughout Semester 1.
