NTU Music Scholarship

An NTU Music Scholarship provides you with the opportunity to develop your vocal or instrumental skills with one of our expert tutors, alongside your academic studies.

We offer tuition for voice, piano, strings, brass, guitar, bass, percussion, drums, and woodwind.

Our scholarships are of varying lengths. We may award music tuition for a number of months, a full academic year, or up to the length of your course. Successful candidates are expected to join at least one of NTU's ensembles and show full commitment to this and their music tuition.

You can apply for one of our music scholarships if you have received or firmly accepted an offer to join an NTU undergraduate or postgraduate degree course starting in September 2025 or January 2026.

You are eligible to apply for a scholarship if:

You have an offer to study on an NTU undergraduate or postgraduate degree course

You are a Grade 6 or 7 standard vocalist or a Grade 7 or 8 standard instrumentalist

You don't need to have taken and passed exams, but your audition performance should demonstrate that you are singing or playing to this level.
