Submit a short film script

Please submit a short film script, in correct screenplay formatting, of up to five minutes in length and a 1,000 word statement answering the following question:

‘Why would being a Robert McKee International Screenwriting scholar be important to you?'

If your application is shortlisted

If shortlisted, you will be invited to interview (face-to-face or online) with members of the Film, Media & Performance team at Regent's. You will be asked to discuss your short drama script and points from your statement, as well as answer other interview questions.

In partnership with Robert McKee, the world's most in demand screenwriting expert, we're proud to offer one student a screenwriting scholarship – with £7,000 towards their fees and free entry to the London Screenwriters' Festival, the annual festival of screenwriters and filmmakers held at Regent's University London.
