You can apply if you:
- will be studying full-time or part-time at Sheffield Hallam University in 2025/26 academic year, and
- are competing in an Olympic, Paralympic or Commonwealth sport, or competing consistently at an exceptional level in a sport outside of these games which is recognised by British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) you must be able to demonstrate clear evidence of your Olympic, Paralympic, Commonwealth, National Governing Body (NGB) or professional representation pathway.
We will also accept applications from sports not recognised in the areas listed if you represent at an international level or above.
There are two application windows, please be sure to apply at the right time.
Applications for students enrolling in September 2025 open on Tuesday 1 July 2025 and close on Sunday 31 August 2025.
Applications for students enrolling in January 2026 open on Monday 1 December 2025 and close on Sunday 1 February 2026.
