Women in Engineering Leadership Scholarship

This scholarship supports female international students pursuing eligible engineering or construction courses while fostering professional development and career readiness through mentorship activities.

To be eligible, you must identify as a woman (as per your passport) and be commencing your studies at our Hawthorn campus for the first time in 2027 in one of the eligible courses. You must also meet the eligibility criteria for our scholarships.

To be eligible for an international scholarship, you must:

• be an international student (citizens of Australia or New Zealand and permanent residents of Australia are not eligible)
• meet any course or scholarship-specific entry requirements, the terms and conditions of the scholarship, and the conditions outlined in your letter of offer
• not be in receipt of a Swinburne tuition fee scholarship or reduced fee arrangement at any one time (Swinburne will apply the most favourable arrangement)
• not be in receipt of another form of tuition fee scholarship or reduced fee arrangement from another organisation at the same time.
