Global Excellence Scholarships

Teesside University offers a range of scholarships for eligible international students who demonstrate academic excellence in their application. These scholarships aim to support students who receive the highest grades prior to joining the University.

The scholarship is allocated as a fee waiver.

If you meet the eligibility criteria, you will automatically be considered for the scholarship (but not guaranteed).

Eligibility

To apply for one of these scholarships, you must:

• an offer holder, applying to study an undergraduate or postgraduate programme at Teesside University. Applicants enrolling on Level 3 (Foundation) and Level 8 (DBA and PHD) courses are not eligible for this scholarship
• a full-time sponsored or self-funding student, paying international fees, starting your course in September 2026
• you must pay your deposit and accept your offer before the scholarship can be added to your account.
• eligible students offered a scholarship will be notified by email. The email will contain a deadline by which you must pay your deposit and accept the offer. If you do not meet the deadline provided, the scholarship offer will be revoked and offered to another eligible student.
• be an international fee payer at Teesside University studying on-campus in Middlesbrough or Darlington (Teesside University Online and Teesside University courses outside the UK are therefore excluded from this scholarship).

Please note that there is a limited number of scholarships available.

This scholarship cannot be offered in conjunction with any other Teesside University scholarship.
