Selection process and criteria

(1) The scholarship is granted by the Vice-Chancellor after receiving a recommendation or nomination from the Selection Committee. (2) The Selection Committee comprises the Discipline Director – Music (or nominee), and two academic staff members specialising in Music nominated by the Discipline Director – Music. (3) The selection criteria for the grant of the scholarship are: (a) performance in an audition in Performance not exceeding 20 minutes and (b) the proposed study plans and (c) financial need as assessed by current or past eligibility for a StudyLink Student Allowance and personal financial circumstances as assessed by a personal statement (4) An applicant must attend such audition(s) at such time(s) and place(s) as may be required by the Director.

Award to support a domestic or international music student undertaking study in organ or early keyboard.

The eligibility criteria for the scholarship are: (a) an applicant must be: (i) a domestic student or (ii) an international student with a valid visa for the duration of the scholarship and (b) enrolled, or intending to enrol, in an undergraduate, sub-doctoral postgraduate, or doctoral programme,specialising in organ and/or early keyboard at the University in the year of the award.
