School of Biological Sciences South and South-East Asia Academic Excellence Masters Scholarship

The scholarship will be awarded broadly on the basis of academic merit.

Awards

We are offering a limited number of scholarships, for the sum of £10,000 each to eligible applicants. These awards will be tenable for one academic year and will be:

Automatically deducted from your tuition fee with any remaining funds being awarded towards living costs.

Eligibility

The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit to applicants who have received an offer to a postgraduate taught master's degree programme offered by the School of Biological Sciences commencing in September 2026.

Eligible programmes are:

• Animal Breeding and Genetics
• Biochemistry
• Bioinformatics
• Biotechnology
• Data Science for Biology
• Drug Discovery and Translational Biology
• Ecology, Evolution and Biodiversity
• Evolutionary Genetics
• Human Complex Trait Genetics
• Quantitative Genetics and Genome Analysis
• Synthetic Biology and Biotechnology

Applicants must have, or expect to obtain, the equivalent of a UK first class honours degree at undergraduate level and be domiciled in and a national of South Asia or South-East Asia.
