RG and AU Meade Scholarship in Surgery

The ​scholarship​ is offered to the eligible candidate(s) ranked highest on the basis of academic merit, the faculty scholarship score, demonstrated skill in the relevant research area, career aspiration and the terms and conditions of the trust.

This scholarship is awarded to medical graduates undertaking a graduate research degree in Surgery in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences.

Benefits

The scholarship provides a living allowance, paid fortnightly, the value and duration of which is dependent on the income of the gift.

Eligibility

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

• be an outstanding graduate research applicant, or be currently enrolled as a graduate researcher, in the Melbourne Medical School, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences
• be a medical graduate
• satisfy the Faculty's entry requirements for PhD
