Kriteria seleksi
The Wilson Scholarship in Veterinary Science was established with a gift from William Joseph Robinson Wilson and Mary Weir Wilson and is offered to students who are enrolling in the Doctor of Philosophy – Science and undertaking research in Veterinary Science.
Benefits
The scholarship provides a fortnightly stipend with a rate of $37,000 per year (2024 full-time student rate) for 3.5 years. The stipend may be indexed annually and includes limited paid sick, parenting and partner leave.
Eligibility
To be considered, students must have applied for and meet the requirements for the Doctor of Philosophy – Veterinary Science.
Conditions
The scholarship is subject to the University Graduate Research Scholarship Terms and Conditions and can be deferred to the following year with prior approval from the University.
In addition, students must:
Maintain satisfactory academic progress during their candidature
Agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and provide a note of appreciation or a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.
You must submit an application and include:
Personal statement addressing the purpose of and commitment to your research
Curriculum vitae including leadership experience, publications or presentations related to your field of research
Statement of support from your supervisor.
