Dean's Excellence Scholarship (DES) is awarded to top achieving current students, at the point of progression for each academic year, i.e. from:
- Foundation to Year 1
- Year 1 to Year 2
- Year 2 to Year 3
- Year 3 to Year 4 (applicable for Masters of Engineering and Bachelor of Education only)
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Dean's Excellence Scholarship (DES), students must meet the following minimum academic tresholds:
Faculty of Science and Engineering (FOSE)
- Foundation : Minimum average marks of 90%
- Undergraduate : Minimum average marks of 85%
Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS)
- Foundation : Minimum average marks of 80%
- Undergraduate : Minimum average marks of 75%
To retain the scholarship
The scholarship is awarded for one academic year only, renewal of scholarship is contingent upon making the Dean's list upon progressing in each subsequent academic year.
