UQ Firebirds Scholarship

We'll consider:

• strength of interest in your chosen Approved Program as evidenced by your personal statement included in the application and
• your commitment to the netball community as evidenced by your personal statement included in the application.

Preference will be given to applicants who (in order of preference):

• are Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander persons
• are from a Regional, Rural or Remote Area
• are First in Family
• can demonstrate financial hardship by providing documentary evidence.

You may need to upload supporting documentation that shows your:

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander status (if applicable)
• regional/rural/remote residency (if applicable)

You're eligible if you:

• are a Commencing Student
• are or will be enrolled full-time in an Approved Program
• can demonstrate that you have played netball for school or a club, or contributed to the sport of netball through coaching or volunteering within the two year period prior to the year of the award.
