Deas Thomson Scholarships (Geology and Mineralogy)

a. The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of:

I. academic merit, and

II. a personal statement demonstrating interest in geology.

b. The Scholarship will be awarded by the Head of School of the School of Geosciences, or their nominated delegate.

Deas Thomson Geology Scholarship in Honours

You must:

• be a domestic or international student
• have an unconditional offer of admission in Honours
• study Geology within the School of Geosciences at the University of Sydney.

Deas Thomson Mineralogy Scholarship in Honours

You must:

• be a domestic or international student
• have an unconditional offer of admission in Honours
• study Mineralogy within the School of Geosciences at the University of Sydney.
